Ryan relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2008 and in 2010 joined the Crown Prince’s Court of Abu Dhabi as official photographer where he covers the activities of HH General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Prior to taking this position, Ryan completed editorial assignments for publications such as the New York Times Magazine, Monocle, and the Walrus.
